Hey, First Journal entry that I posted since I signed up on Deviantart.
Want to know your opinion on my poem that I had to write for Mr. Andrew's class.
so here it is


No Protection

Hold on tight!
It’s going to be a rough ride.
No seat belts to keep you down,
No air bags for your protection.
There will be sticks and stones,
Causing many broken bones.
Several give up before the second part,
Falling in your way,
Producing more pain and suffering.
The ride speeds up,
Slamming right through them,
Dashing their memories into the past.
The ride slows down,
Right after the blast,
“Thank God!” You will say,
But it won’t last,
You will get sick of the ride,
And want to get off,
“Where does it end?”
I couldn’t tell.
My face was torn up,
From the sticks and stones,
Bodies that kept on dropping,
And walls that want to stay,
The ride is long,
The ride is hard,
But just hold on.
And you will get through.
